Each trivet is meticulously crafted with fine hardwoods for appearance and longevity. A gently curved maple base with precise dado grooves supports contrasting walnut, padauk or purpleheart slats. A narrow dowel penetrates all the slats, at each end of the base, to ensure stability and longevity. Indents on the bottom of each base of each trivet enable it to be safely lifted and moved.
